Hay Sandee. I wrote an article about you and your hosting gig at TunaFlix. Check it: http://film-book.com/sandee-westgate-hosts-tunaflixs-dvd-review/
Please let me know what you think about it.
I totally disagree with your review of The Mist. Most horror films these days are remakes and not original in the slightest. The Mist is original with a caliber of cast most horror film never receive.
If you are taking issue with some of the special effects, you obviously didn’t review the 2-Disc Edition of the film which contains the Black and White version of the film. Here is the director of The Mist, Frank Darabont, discussing the B&W version: http://film-book.com/frank-darabont-on-the-mist-in-black-and-white/. The B&W evens out some of the lesser effects and blends them far better than the color edition.
I’ve written a review for the film: http://film-book.com/review-the-mist/. I would love to hear your opinion on my review Sandee. I’ve already had many responses to it.
Also, you should check out Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. Its a very cool, original horror film.
