So I went to New Orleans last weekend and had an absolute blast!   The reason my friend and I decided to go in the first place was for the Voodoo Experience tour.  It’s a concert with all kinds of amazing artists playing.  We went specifically for the Black Keys.  We got there about 10 minutes before they started (which was perfect) but it was super hot out, like 90 out with 76% humidity!  Eeeks!  So, the band goes on… then all the sudden all these black clouds come rushing in, the temp drops about 30 degrees and it starts pouring rain!   We stayed there, standing in the rain for about 45 min or so… and the music was AMAZING but it was soooo cold and windy, and I was soaking wet!   We finally decided enough was enough and took off.  Man, I’ll never forget that!  I was freezing cold and miserable.

The next coupld of days there the weather was perfect.  We did a little sight seeing and went to IMAX and the aquarium.  All of it was awesome and I missed it the moment i left.  I do hope to go back someday soon!

Since I’ve been back I’ve been working and hanging out with friends.   I went to a birthday party last night in Huntington beach at a local hotel restaurant.  It was AMAZING food.  If you’re in the area… check this out: http://www.shorebreakhotel.com/restaurant/  Here’s a pic from last night:
